What??? Was there a problem selling seats in Phoenix and Homestead so we brought Jimmy back closer to the group so he couldn't clinch until Homestead? I am beginning to believe some of the stories about race fixing now. Let's see how Phoenix shakes out next week. Hum, let's see, a debri caution just before Jeff Gordon was about to be lapped.
You both are probably right. After watching the joke of a race at Talladega yesterday, I think the NASCAR needs an overhaul. Find some way of putting the race back in the drivers hands like it used to be. Face it, the economy is not the only reason there are empty seats at races that were always sold out.
I've got a couple hunches about NASCAR myself; The drivers make millions on endorsements, same when advertising for their sponser and other commericals. The [ at one time ] 'drive' and desire to win races and pure competitive spirt is not what it usetobe. U think?
